After 17 years as a record producing Realtor in the Wachusett area, Janice formed Janice Mitchell Real Estate, Inc. in 1989. The company is now in its twenty-forth successful year. Janice is a member of the Worcester Regional Association of Realtors as well as the Mass and National Association of Realtors. She earned the Graduate Realtors Institute Designation, the Certified Residential Specialist Designation,and has the Loss Mitigation Certification. She is a Seniors Real Estate Specialist,a Certified Buyer Representative,and an Accredited Home Staging Professional.

She served on the Ethics Committee for the Worcester Regional Association of Realtors, and is currently a Board mediator. She also serves on the Professional Standards Committee. She was Co-Chair of the Holden Senior Center Fund Raising Committee and is a Corporator of Southbridge Savings Bank. In 2006 Janice was honored by the Girl Scouts as one of their Women of Distinction.
